1. Player Code
All players are expected to:
Arrive on time and ready to train.
Wear the official GB Elite training kit, shin pads, and appropriate footwear.
Show respect to coaches, teammates, opponents, and match officials.
Listen carefully and follow coaching instructions.
Avoid disruptive or negative behaviour.
Always try their best and encourage others.
2. Parent / Guardian Code
We ask parents and guardians to:
Support their child positively — encourage, don’t pressure.
Allow coaches to coach and players to learn through experience.
Treat all coaches, players, parents, and officials with respect.
Communicate politely and constructively with staff.
Keep training fees up to date and inform us promptly of any absences.
Promote fair play and a positive attitude from the sidelines.
3. Coach Code
All GB Elite coaches commit to:
Creating a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable environment.
Treating all players fairly and with respect.
Planning well-structured, progressive sessions that support development.
Using encouragement and constructive feedback.
Holding valid DBS, FA Safeguarding Children, and First Aid certifications.
Reporting and managing any safeguarding or welfare concerns immediately.
4. Safeguarding & Welfare
The safety and welfare of every child is our highest priority.
All concerns or issues must be reported to the Academy Welfare Officer or management team.
GB Elite strictly follows The FA’s Safeguarding Children Policy and promotes a zero-tolerance approach to bullying, discrimination, or abuse.
5. Attendance & Communication
Regular attendance is essential for consistent development.
If a player cannot attend, parents must notify the coach in advance.
Persistent lateness or absence may affect a child’s place in the programme.
6. Refund & Payment Policy
All training fees are paid monthly in advance.
Payments secure the player’s place for that month’s sessions.
No refunds will be issued for missed sessions due to illness, holidays, or personal reasons.
If a session is cancelled by the academy (e.g. weather or pitch issue), a make-up session or credit will be offered.
A minimum of two weeks’ notice is required if you wish to withdraw your child.
Repeated late or non-payment may result in suspension of a player’s place.
The academy reserves the right to remove any player for serious misconduct or breach of this Code — no refund will apply.
7. Agreement
By submitting the registration form and joining GB Elite Football Academy, parents and players confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to follow this Code of Conduct and Refund Policy.
