about

Our Development Philosophy

At GB Elite Football Academy, our focus is on building strong technical foundations, confidence, and character in every young player.
Our training programme is designed to help players develop their skills in a structured, enjoyable, and professional environment guided by experienced FA-qualified coaches.

We believe in long-term player development — prioritising technique, decision-making, teamwork, and self-belief before introducing competitive matches.
Every session is built to challenge players appropriately for their age and stage, helping them grow both on and off the pitch.

Initial launch phase

Development Phase (Training-Only Launch)

During our initial launch phase, GB Elite Football Academy will focus purely on training and player development — with no matches yet.
This allows players to build confidence, improve technique, and understand the game before being introduced to competition.

Boys’ Age Groups

  • U7s (6–7 yrs)
  • U8/U9s (8–9 yrs)
  • U10/U11s (10–11 yrs)
  • U12/U13s (12–13 yrs)

Each age group trains once per week in 60-minute sessions that focus on:

  • Ball control and first touch
  • Passing and receiving
  • Movement and spatial awareness
  • Confidence on and off the ball
  • Teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship

Friendly matches will be introduced later once players reach the required development level and each age group is fully established.
